Dennis Oram

It is with great sadness that the Club reports the death of Dennis Oram, one of the founder members of the Ratae Road Club and one of its early star riders. Dennis's father Fred was the first president of the Club when it was formed in 1950.

Dennis passed away peacefully on the 22nd of November at his home in Tewkesbury. He leaves his wife Joyce, three children and grandchildren.

It was Dennis's wish prior to his death that after his family, our Club should be next to be informed.

On a personal note, I met him once through my own family connections and what a pleasure it was to meet and speak with him.

I have asked Dennis's son Gerry about keeping the images of Dennis with this post and he told me - "Dad would have liked that "
